Dr. Chintamani Gautam, Ph.D. (Doctorate) in Yoga, Master Degree in Human Consciousness and Yogic Science, Master Degree in Sanskrit Literature, Founder of The Nepal Yoga Academy, established in hopes of educating people to develop spiritual awareness.

Over 2 decades of experience and wisdom acquired in the mystical land of Nepal and India, studying the ancient scriptures, including Vedas, Upanishads, the Gita, the great six Eastern Philosophies, and many other ancient yogic scriptures, and acquired deep knowledge of this ancient art of living with some of the top-rated Sanskrit scholars and Swamis, now he spends his life in the lap of the Himalaya of Nepal sharing his wisdom and insights on several timely and important topics.

He is also an author, known for his book “Classical Yoga Asana and Pranayama,” which serves as a valuable guide for yoga practitioners and teachers. In 2012, he was honored with the Nepal Vidyabhushan ‘KA’ award by the President of Nepal for his outstanding contributions to the field.

After over 2 decades of involvement in the field of yoga and its philosophy, with this wealth of knowledge and experience, Dr. Chintamani’s vision is to Preserve and Restore the true vibrancy of Yoga, as practiced by the ancient yogis in the Himalayas of Nepal, providing authentic yogic training, and peaceful yoga retreat programs around the globe to rejuvenate and revitalize the mind, body, and soul.
